A 17-year old high school senior, Fie Lam made $130,000 in 6 months by selling Apple White iPhone 4s. Amazed? White iPhone 4 is released?? No! The guy just used his brain to make some money out of it. The New York guy which is also said to be a gadget nerd, ordered White iPhone 4 parts from some acquaintances at Foxconn. His relationship with some folks in Foxconn made him rich.
Joining White iPhone 4 parts he managed to make conversion kits and he has made $130,000 in 6 months. That is really good. Seriously! isn’t it ?
Lam craze for gadgets, his aim to pay off his college fees and his observation about people madness about the White device cracked this idea.
In start he was not getting good money out of it but when his activity was observed by some big sites like CNET and CNN, his sales crossed $130,000.
“I’m very thankful, cause for months I was struggling for an idea that would bootstrap my first startup and help pay for college,” says Lam, who wanted to go to NYU to study computer science and business.
I got an email from a private investigator accusing me of selling stolen goods, which I’m 100 percent sure is not the case. They are some kind of anti-counterfeit/trademark firm, which sounds ridiculous, similar to what Apple is bringing up to remove White iPhone 4 Listings on eBay. I don’t know how this legal stuff works.
