Microsoft has launched the beta of the first service pack SP1 for Office 2010. It is the first beta released by the company for their famous product MS Office 2010.
There are no new features introduced by the Redmond company. The beta version of MS Office 2010 contains bug fixes and patches. Other contained updates are said to be very much ‘under the hood’.
The beta is available at the MicrosoftConnect portal but only for those who are invited. The build number for this beta is 14.0.6011.1000. The SP1 beta download is 294MB of size.
“The testing is marked as a private beta and it’s not likely that Microsoft will distribute the beta publicly.” said WinRumors on the availability of SP1 MS Office 2010.
More than six million copies have been sold so far since the release in June. Office is currently used by over 750 million users all over the world.
No doubt that MS Office 2010 is the best version of the Office. Let us see when Microsoft is going to publicly distribute the SP1 for Office 2010.
