The iPhone Dev Team has released a new version of RedSn0w JailBreak tool. The new release is RedSn0w 0.9.6b2. The popular tool is available both for Mac and Windows operating systems. RedSn0w has been a very useful tool previously, but what new this time in version 0.9.6b2 ????
The big news is the RedSn0w is now able to jailbreak all devices runningiOS 4.1. The devices it is capable to jailbreak includes iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G, and Apple TV.
You can also have customized bootlogos on the Phone 3G/3GS and iPod Touch 2G which is also a new feature. The feature which will attract a lot of people is the option that implements the DFU button in Pwnage Tool.
“Just enter pwned DFU mode right now” feature can be used for a customized firmware on Apple Mac using PwnageTool and install it via RedSn0w.
