Reported by many users, there are issues opening and using iBooks service after iOS 4.3.2 untethered jailbreak. Back at the time of iOS 4.2.1 firmware, Chronic Dev Team came up with an untethered iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak solution using Greenpois0n RC5. After using their tool, users were unable to connect with iBooks. Same is happening after using untethered 4.3.2 jailbreak with Redsn0w 0.9.6 RC 14 and Sn0wbreeze 2.6.

If you are unaware, iBooks is a service by Apple through which you can access online store to buy books in digital format.

It is because Apple has implemented some anti jailbreaking tricks in it. iBooks is implemented with a process which involves the running of unsigned code attempts. These type of attempts are only executed by the jailbroken phones. So it will detect that you are using a jailbroken iPhone and will prompt you a message to restore your iPhone device.

iBooks Jailbreak

Normal phones will not execute a small code run by Apple on your device when you try to access iBooks. However jailbroken iPhones by default allows this code to run, thus help Apple to figure it out that you are using a jailbroken iPhone.

Of course you have to buy the books whether you have a jailbroken device or not. But Apple has implemented this obstacle specifically for the jailbroken device owners.

We are hoping that Comex will fix it very similar to the last time when he fixed this issue and Chronic Dev Team released Greenpois0n RC 6.1.
