Key member of iPhone Dev Team, MuscleNerd tweeted that the latest version of Redsn0w is capable to jailbreak iOS 5.0.1 beta 2.

All you need to do is to point Redsn0w tool to iOS 5.0 or iOS 5.0.1 to jailbreak your iOS device.

Of course its still a tethered jailbreak solution. For untethered iOS 5 jailbreak we are still waiting Chronic Dev Team. Last update about the untethered jailbreak by Chronic Dev Team was to wait as they are still working on it.
