Apple Releases iOS 5.0.1 Beta 2 For iPhone iPad & iPod Touch

Unexpectedly, Apple has just released iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 software build 9A404 to the developers. iOS 5.0.1 beta 1 build number of 9A402 was introduced two days back.

iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 is available for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad and iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G and iPod Touch 3G.

Previous beta version brought fixes to iPhone 4S battery drains issues, multitasking gestures were introduced again for iPad 1, security improvements, voice recognition improvements for Australian users using dictation and resolves bugs with documents in the Cloud. iPad 2 smart cover issue was also addressed in the previous update.

iOS 5.0.2 changelog is not available yet. We will let you know as soon as its available.

iOS 5.0.1 beta 2

As its a beta version so its only released for the developers. You can sign in to your account and go to the Dev Center to download it. You can also install iOS 5.0.1 beta 2 using Over The Air updates by going to Settings > General, Software Update in your iOS device. OTA updates will not work if you have a jailbroken iOS device.

Its not clear why Apple has released another beta right after two days. We will inform you as soon changes in the newer version are noticed. Stay tuned to VeryRite.com.
