Pod2g is teasing the users with updates on the upcoming untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1 and iOS 5.1.1. Earlier he told that his exploits will not work on iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G followed by a successful test on iPhone 4S. Now he has successfully tested his untethered jailbreak on iPad 1 and iPad 2.
The new iPad (iPad 3) was already tested and he has also shown a video demo of it few days back. So far ATV3, iPod Touch 3GS and iPhone 3GS are the devices that will not be compatible with the upcoming jailbreak. Remember old bootrom iPhone 3GS users already have untethered jailbreak for life so when we say that 3GS is not supported, it means only the new bootrom ones.
