Download iOS 7.1.2, Includes Bug Fixes, Safe For Jailbreakers To Update

Apple has released iOS 7.1.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The updated mobile operating system brings bug fixes and security updates.

The official change log of iOS 7.1.2 states the new update contains improvement in iBeacon connectivity and stability, bug fixes related to transfer for some 3rd party accessories, including bar code scanners and also fixes a bug associated with data protection class of Mail attachments.

iOS 7.1.2 Compatibility:

iOS 7.1.2 is compatible with all devices capable of running iOS 7 including iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2 and iPad mini and iPod touch 5G.

How To Update To iOS 7.1.1

If you don’t care about the Cydia, you can upgrade to the latest software by using Over the Air update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Alternate solution to update is using iTunes and connecting your device with it. If you need the IPSW firmware files and want to restore it, you can use the direct download links given below.

A note for Jailbreakers:

People who are using the jailbroken iOS device on iOS 7.1.1 using Pangu jailbreak, can update to iOS 7.1.2. The new software update is still vulnerable to the Pangu exploit and can be jailbroken.
