Apple released iOS 7.0.6 software update yesterday to fix a bug in SSL connection that could let an intruder with some authority to catch and modify data packets in sessions under SSL/TLS. Evad3rs, the team behind Evasi0n7 jailbreak tool, has released an updated version so it can become compatible with the latest Apple’s software.
Evasi0n7 version 1.0.6 provided an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7.0.6. If you haven’t updated your iOS device to the latest operating system, it is highly recommended to do so since the SSL bug fix was a big security flaw.
Also, it is highly expected that the upcoming version iOS 7.1 will fix the jailbreak vulnerability as well that will result in Evasi0n7 having no effect on your device. In short, you won’t be able to enjoy iOS 7.1 untethered jailbreak with Evasi0n7. So its better to update to iOS 7.0.6, the latest version before iOS 7.1.
If you haven’t already, you can download iOS 7.0.6 HERE or update your device using the OTA update.
To enjoy the untethered jailbreak on iOS 7.0.6, you have to download Evasi0n7 1.0.6.
