Looks like we have to wait a little more for iOS 7.1. Apple has released iOS 7.0.6, the updated version of its mobile operating system for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The latest version is available for download.
The new software can be installed on the devices that are compatible with iOS 7 including iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad Air, iPad third and fourth generations, iPad 2, iPad mini and fifth-generation iPod touch.
We were expecting the company to release iOS 7.1 with performance enhancements and bug fixes. Instead we got iOS 7.0.6 which is more of a security update. The update will fix a bug in SSL connection that could let an intruder with some authority to catch and modify data packets in sessions under SSL/TLS. The update will also secure the transport failed to validate the authenticity of the connection.
iOS 7.0.6 is available for download from iTunes on your PC or Mac. You can also use over-the-air (OTA) update to update to the latest software. All you need to do is to go to Settings > General > Software Update and install a small download in order to get updated to the latest operating system.

Note to the Jailbreakers:
“Same advice as last time! Stay away from 7.0.6 if jailbroken, and we’ll update evasi0n7 if possible (this sounds like an important fix!).” said MuscleNerd on his Twitter account.
We will update as soon as they release an updated version of Evasi0n7 for iOS 7.0.6 jailbreak is released. Current version of Evasi0n7 doesn’t support iOS 7.0.6.
