P0sixpwn, the jailbreaking tool that provided untethered jailbreak for all devices running iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 6.1.5, has been updated for Windows operating system users. The tool was released a few days back for Mac users with a promise of Windows version coming soon but now its here.
Although most of the users are on iOS 7 already and have used Evasi0n7 to jailbreak their devices, but there are also many users who wants to stay on earlier version of the iOS. That also includes iPhone 3GS users that cannot update to iOS 7 at all. For all those who are staying on iOS 6 for what ever reason, P0sixpwn is a real treat.
P0sixpwn is released by iH8sn0w, Winocm, and SquiffyPwn. The tool was originally released as a Cydia package but later they have released it in the form of a software that can be downloaded, in the form of P0sixpwn.
P0sixpwn has also received a huge criticism in the jailbreak community because of the fact that it uses a very valuable exploit which they have wasted on iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 6.1.5 jailbreak. The newer version iOS 7 is already jailbroken using Evasi0n7 so there was no point of wasting an exploit they could have been saved for future.
