Unlock7 is a new Cydia tweak that brings iOS 7 style slide to lock screen to devices still running iOS 6 or earlier. One of the many features in iOS 7 is its new slide to unlock screen that allows you to unlock your device by swiping any where on the screen as long as the motion is from left right.
The new mobile firmware by Apple leaves behind the typical lock screen switch at the bottom of the screen that requires it to swipe it. Now you can swipe anywhere on the screen in order for it to work.
As the new software adoption rate is very high among Apple users and almost two third of all the compatible devices have upgraded to the latest software, still there are many users who are using iOS 6 or earlier.
So if you happen to have a device running an earlier version of software and its jailbroken, why not try the Unlock7 Cydia tweak that will bring the mentioned functionality.
The tweak doesn’t bring the whole package as it lacks the visual part and only implements the swipe functionality.
