Evad3rs team has updated Evasi0n jailbreak to version 1.5.1 along with an updated Cydia packages list that are preloaded so your device don’t have to download them when you open Cydia after the jailbreak.
This is a minor update and it will speed up the whole process as your iOS device won’t be downloading some files when Cydia is opened after the jailbreak process.
Evasi0n is by far the most famous jailbreaking tool and the most stable one also. In an earlier news, Cydia creator Jay Freeman aka Saurik has announced that more than 14 million unique devices has been jailbroken using Evasi0n and a total of 23 million jailbroken devices are in use.
Those who haven’t yet jailbroken their devices are advised to use the latest version of Evasi0n. Those who are already enjoying the untethered jailbreak don’t have to use the updated tool. All they need to do is to update the Cydia packages that will be shown in the ‘Changes’ section. If you don’t see any update, refreshing it will show the packages update.
Also it is recommended to update your devices to the latest firmware that is iOS 6.1.2 and its jailbroken using Evasi0n. The upcoming firmware iOS 6.1.3 is highly expected to patch the exploits used by the Evad3rs team so you have to stay away from the upcoming update unless we update you to choose otherwise.
