iPhone 5 was unveiled to the public yesterday and it has become the most controversial smartphone ever. Many people are annoyed that it does not offer what they were expecting. Also it was leaked so many times before the launch that people were not amazed to see it.
Well haters are gonna hate and there are still plenty of them who want to buy it. Apple has already announced the price. The 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB models cost $199, $299, and $399 respectively but this price also includes a two year contract with the carrier.
What about if you want to buy a factory unlocked iPhone 5 device ? Apple’s website is updated to show you this detail. Unlocked iPhone 5 price in U.S starts at $649 for 16GB model while 32GB and 64GB models cost you $749 and $849.
The price is very similar to the price what iPhone 4S used to have earlier. Few users love to buy an unlocked device to have some advantages over an on contract device.
Unlocked device as you probably already know, does not restrict you to a particular carrier and you can choose a different network for example T-mobile that is still not an official iPhone carrier.
