Apple has approved an app named “Display Recorder” in the App Store. Screen recording ability was earlier limited to Cydia for jailbroken devices.

The Cydia display recording app is also named Display Recorder and is developed by Ryan Petrich while App store version of this app is released by BUgin Software.

The app approved by Apple is surely taking advantage of the name “Display Recorder” extremely popular in the jailbreak community but it also has more features to offer.

2. Records both video & audio.
3. On-device YouTube uploading.
4. Adjustable video orientation & quality settings.
