by cM Boy on June 5, 2012

As we have informed you earlier, iPhone Dev Team has released an updated version of Redsn0w to support iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Redsn0w 0.9.12b1 also adds support for SAM unlock users who have earlier saved their unlock tickets to keep their unlock.

The new Redsn0w is very very easy to use. You don’t even have to put your device in DFU mode. All you need to do is to connect your iOS device with computer, open Redsn0w and click on the Jailbreak button and it will do the rest for you. Let us go through the process. Remember if you have already jailbroken your device using Absinthe 2.0, you don’t need to use Redsn0w as both are using the same exploit made by Pod2g.
