Those who have been jailbreaking their devices needs no introduction to DreamBoard, a Cydia app that applies custom themes on your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch by taking full control over SpringBoard.

Scammers are always there to take advantage. We all know DreamBoard is a Cydia app and its not allowed in the official Apple App Store. So a developer has created a DreamBoard knockoff and its available for download in the App Store for $2.99.

Another shameless thing, the developer has even copied the description of the original app:

Take control over SpringBoard! Dreamboard lets you place anything from widgets to apps where ever you want. Theming is no longer limited to just icons, or having to resort to complicated setup themes involving Iconoclasm, SpringJumps, etc.

Dreamboard makes it easy to switch between any theme in just a few seconds. Simply launch, choose and apply! And, Dreamboard eliminates the long wait of having to restart Springboard everytime you make a change. No more resprings! Dreamboard includes a complementary copy of Endroid (HTC theme).

Compatible with iPad although not all themes compatible. Not all themes recommended with older generation devices.

Now you must be thinking that its good for those who do not jailbreak their devices and want to enjoy themes. Well let us tell you that this app does not offer what its claiming. It just shows you images of other operating systems.

Its strange how it has made its way to the App Store as Apple is known for their strict behavior when it comes to approving apps. The app is not violating any Apple rules and there is a possibility of changing the description after Apple approves it once.

So by any chance if you see this app in the App Store, do not waste your money. Let us see if Apple takes any action against the developer.
