Seems like the developer Pod2g is on fire. Previously he completed his work on the untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak for all devices other than iOS 5.0.1. He then handed his exploits to iPhone Dev Team and Chronic Dev Team so they can finish the rest of work and he can concentrate on A5 based devices. Both Chronic and iPhone Dev Team successfully released his work to the public and millions of users enjoyed the untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1.
Now as he is still working on iPad 2 and iPhone 4S jailbreak, it sounds a little complicated as 4S has never been jailbroken previously and iPad 2 was jailbroken only once by Comex on iOS 4.3.3 with JailbreakMe.
Frankly speaking we were not expecting an early announcement but Pod2g has tweeted a possible release in a week. This is what he has announced:
Remember its just a news we are passing and has written that we COULD expect a release in a week. It does not necessarily means we are getting it for sure in a week. We are just mentioning it because a lot of users get over excited.
But good to see Pod2g is making some progress and we are hopeful he will get hundred percent success for sure. Stay tuned to VeryRite.com, we will update you as soon as he updates it. You can also follow the developer @Pod2g for direct updates anything on iPhone 4S and iPad 2 Jailbreak.
