Earlier we told you that a legal Siri port is possible with the arrival of new iOS 5.0.1 firmware for iPhone 4s by Apple. Noted by MuscleNerd, the new iOS 5.0.1 firmware that was released only for iPhone 4s contains decrypted ramdisks that makes it possible to extract important files from it and use them for Siri port without violating copyrights.
Coming to the point, a legal Siri port named i4Siri for iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4S is in works. Support for other devices will come later. @MrAjsTech with @leftyfl1p are the developers behind this port.
Check out the video demo of i4Siri:
The developers are also looking for donations. They have made it clear that they are not trying to make money out of it. Instead they need a small amount for server cost because if they open it for public, it means an explosion of web traffic.
