Apple Releases iOS 4.3 For Apple TV 2G Users With Stream Purchased Shows Option

Apple has released an updated version of iOS for second generation Apple TV. Till now there is no official change-log available. iOS 4.3 for Apple TV2G has a build number 8F455 and is now available for download.

The new iOS 4.3 for Apple TV 2G is expected to have the option to stream purchased TV shows. It simply means that it will make available already purchased items in iTunes for streaming.

Not only you can stream already purchased items but also you can re-download it on other iOS devices including iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Cool ?

In a similar way, any purchased shows elsewhere are available to be played on Apple TV 2G on the latest iOS 4.3. iOS 4.3 for Apple TV 2G also supports the popular free video website Vimeo.

All you need to do is to go to the Settings > General > Update Software and click Download and Install to get the update.
