Chronic Dev Team has updated iPad2 jailbreak status. According to them, work on jailbreak iPad 2 is under process. Key member of Chronic Dev Team, Joshua Hill as known as p0sixninja has delivered a message which seems very hopeful. But again there is no estimated time of arrival.

Seems like every ha*ker is now enthusiastic enough to to jailbreak iPad 2 device. On the other hand, we have Comex, who has almost developed his PDF exploit for the iPad 2 jail break. He has also confirmed that his jailbreak is almost ready. So we are also expecting Comex from iPhone Dev Team to release JailbreakMe 3.0.
Its also not clear whether they are developing it for the iOS 4.3.3 or iOS 5. Most probably they are going to release a Userland jailbreak. If they are releasing it for the iOS 5, do not expect it to be released before Apple releases the final version of iOS 5 as there are more chances Apple will patch it.
The Chronic Team has also told that iPad 2 jailbreak won’t be called Greenpois0n.
