Apple has released iOS 4.3.3 firmware for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The updated software is available for download from iTunes. You can also download it from the direct links posted below. As we have already told you that they will release it. Also as predicted, iOS 4.3.3 fixes the location tracking issue. Other that the location tracking, here is an official change log:
- Reduces the size of the cache
- No longer backs the cache up to iTunes
- Deletes the cache entirely when Location Services is turned off
Download iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone iPad and iPod Touch
For people who are relying on jailbreak and unlock are advised to stay away from this update until further notice. Its just to be on the safe side, although we have already told you previously that iOS 4.3.3 is not meant to patch the jailbreak exploit found by Stefan Esser for iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak and iOS 4.3.2 jailbreak. All the tools will work on it as well.
