Notcom, the developer behind TinyUmbrella has once again teased the arrival of the upcoming TinyPwn. Currently he is working on the tool.
This is what he has updated on his blog:
TinyPwn is coming along – I’ve put HFS* support on the back-burner while I work on my unified device access library. It’s still a long way off so thank you all for your continued support. You guys rock!
If you are unaware of it, TinyPwn will allow all the TinyUmbrella features plus the jailbreak of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch by customization of IPSW firmware files. Currently TinyUmrella allows you to save SHSH blobs. After the developer releases TinyPwn, together both these tools will allow you to save SHSH blobs plus creation of custom firmware to jailbreak your device.
That will be great as we do not have any tool that provide both these capabilities together.
Let us see what other tools we use for custom firmware creation We have Sn0wbreeze for Windows and PwnageTool for Mac to create custom firmware. Unlike these tools, TinyUmbrella + TinyPwn will create a custom firmware for both Mac and Windows. That means you will not be using different tools for different platforms.
