FireCore, the developer team behind the Seas0nPass tool has released an updated version Seas0nPass 0.7.0. The new update of SeasonPass application will allow to do an untethered iOS 4.2.1 firmware jailbreak on Apple TV 2G on Mac OS.
Remember that if you have used the latest version of Greenpoi0sn RC6.1, you do not need to use Seas0nPass as the tool uses the same exploit found in Greenpois0n by the Chronic Dev Team.
If you are unaware of this tool, Seas0nPass helps you create a custom IPSW file for Apple TV2G just like PwnageTool and Sn0wbreeze creates custom firmware on Mac OS and Windows respectively.
Today we’re happy to release an updated version of Seas0nPass (for Mac) that includes an untethered jailbreak for the AppleTV 4.1.1 (iOS 4.2.1) software. All credit for the untethered jailbreak process goes to the Chronic Dev Team.
The windows version of Seas0nPass for iOS 4.2.1 jailbreak will be here soon as the team is currently working on it. We will update you as soon as the Windows version of Seas0nPass releases.
