Customized IPSW Using TinyPwn For Windows Mac & Linux

Notcom, the developer of TinyUmbrella is working on another tool TinyPwn. The tool will allow you to customize IPSW. TinyPwn will allow all the TinyUmbrella features plus the jailbreak of iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch by customization of IPSW firmware files. The current Tiny Umbrella features are to save SHSH blobs to protect your baseband from being updated so that you retain your carrier unlock.

Let us see what other tools we use for custom firmware files. We have Sn0wbreeze for Windows and PwnageTool for Mac to create custom firmware. Unlike these tools, TinyUmbrella will jailbreak on all operating systems that are Windows, Mac and Linux.

TinyPwn will allow you to get all available SHSH of your device even their backups are not being taken. The feature is very similar to the SHSH blob Extractor by iH8sn0w.

The developer has announced TinyPwn on his Twitter account:

TinyPwn: Mac/Win/Linux ipsw customization tool. Will allow scriptable modification of the ipsw via a simple custom API. (and more :) ) via
