iPhone Dev Team will be releasing an updated version of Ultrasn0w to unlock iPhone 4 after the release of iOS 4.3 public version. The updated Ultrasn0w will unlock baseband 2.10.04 and 3.10.01. The tool is also expected to unlock baseband 04.11.02. The new has been confirmed by theiPhonewiki’s Veence.
Veence confirmed this news through his Twitter account. See the text and images to see what he has tweeted:
@reputeinfosys the unlock is pretty much done. They’re just waiting for iOS 4.3 now.
I don’t like repeating myselft, but spirits are still confused? Your unlock (BB >=02.10) will come after (and only after!) 4.3 is released.
>= means “equals or greater than”, so 2.10, 3.10 and 4.3′s baseband (likely 04.10?) will all be covered.
On the other hand, we are still waiting for Apple to release a public version of iOS 4.3. Up till now, three betas of iOS 4.3 have been introduced by the company. It is expected that the next version will be the public version. Rumors say that it will be released on 14 Feb. But we are sure that we have come very close to the public version as three beta versions are enough for Apple to do testing through developers.
