New Red Sn0w Tool For Untethered Jailbreak On iOS 4.2.1 Will Also Allow To Upgrade

iPhone Dev Team key member MuscleNerd has given more updated on the upcoming untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1. He confirmed that the new version of RedSn0w will not only do an untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 but will also help to upgrade the method for the people who have previously used tethered jailbreak on their devices.

The upcoming Redsn0w version will not require a restore and will help you to retrieve files, images, tweaks etc stuck behind a file system problem which can not be fixed.

So when is the untethered jailbreak on iOS 4.2.1 is coming??? We have already posted on this. It is already confirmed that it will be there by Christmas. We know people are waiting anxiously for the untethered jailbreak. Thanks to the iPhone Dev Team who is putting a lot of efforts.

It is also not sure whether the untethered jailbreak for iOS iOS 4.2.1 will only be for the iPhone 4 or is it coming for the iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPod and iPad as well.
