by casey on November 13, 2010

It was expected that Google Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread will be launched on November 11. The day is gone but Android Gingerbread is not showing up. We have another update on this. Folks at Google have posted a teaser on Twitter saying “Our cafes are baking something sweet”.

It means that Google Android 2.3 or 2.5 Gingerbread is now very close to be launched. There is an image as well with this Tweet which you can see below.

Previously we have seen anonymous Google Engineer in code.google.com forum saying: “Yes, Android 2.3 is a “major release”, and this patch will be available then.“

After that we have seen Android OS Ginger Bread Man showing up in the Mountain View at Google HQ. These are all signs of much awaited upcoming Gingerbread release.

Stay connected to VeryRite as we will be covering the Android Gingerbread as soon as they launch it.
