Apple has released the final version of iTunes 10 for Windows and Mac yesterday. iTunes 10.1 will be needed to install latest iOS 4.2 release on iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. On the other hand we have seen iOS 4.2 public version release is already late. Apple has delayed the iOS 4.2 to fix iPad WiFi connect issue and introduced a second Golden Master version. With the upcoming iOS 4.2 people are also thing for its Jailbreak. Famous iPhone developer and hacker Sherif Hashim tweeted saying that iTunes 10.1 is safe for already jailbroken devices with PwnageTool and Redsn0w.

Here is what Sherif Hashim has posted through his Twitter account.

So update you iTunes to the latest version 10.1. Hope that iOS 4.2 for public will be released soon. Possibly on November 24.
