iOS 4.2 is getting controversial like the white iPhone 4. One after another a new rumors appears on the web and floats on the Internet. Apple released the Golden Master version of iOS 4.2 on November 1. After that everyone started predicting about the upcoming iOS 4.2 for public use but it never came. After that there was another news of its launch on November 12. Apple delayed this release to fix some iPad WiFi connect issue and released another Golden Master version. Now we are waiting for iOS 4.2 public version’s launch.

Another rumors is now floating having Telegraph as a reliable source behind it. The news says that iOS 4.2 public version will be launched on November 24.

While searching the issue on the Internet we have read a statement which says “reliable source could be the cousin of the brother of the ex girlfriend of the guy who fixes my car.” :D Lets see how reliable it is.

  • A new unlock for iPhone 3G and 3GS will be available very soon. Do not update to iOS 4.2 as it arrives if you own a 3G or 3GS devices and wants to unlock it. Wait for the green signal from the Dev Team.
  • There has been no unlock for iPhone 4 on iOS 4.2. Do not update to iOS 4.2 on your iPhone 4 device if you are looking for unlock until Dev Team introduces their new features.
