Google Instant Search Arrives On Android & iPhone iOS Devices

Google Instant, an over-hyped feature by Google that has made negligible differences to our lives has made its way to mobile devices. The feature was introduced by Google 2 months ago. At that time it was only available for the searches made through desktops and laptops.

The beta version of Google Instant for mobile devices has already hit some Android phones about a week ago. Today it has shown its arrival on iOS devices.

Load on your iPhone device, you can see Instant (beta) is on: Turn off message at the bottom of search box and location indicator.

Google is currently in a process of rolling out the feature incrementally. That means all users might not see this option. But you will be able to see when they are done with the process.

For those who are still unaware of the Google Instant Search, here are few words by Google on their feature: “Google Instant is a new search enhancement that shows results as you type. We are pushing the limits of our technology and infrastructure to help you get better search results, faster. Our key technical insight was that people type slowly, but read quickly, typically taking 300 milliseconds between keystrokes, but only 30 milliseconds (a tenth of the time!) to glance at another part of the page. This means that you can scan a results page while you type.”
