Angry Birds is getting more and more popular. The latest update is that the Angry Birds game has passed over 10 million Apple’s App Store downloads.
Remember that the 10 million figure only accounts for paid downloads. If we count the number for both paid and unpaid download across different smartphone platform, Angry Birds has been downloaded over 30 million times. The game was launched in 2009.
Some blog tells these statistics in an interesting style by saying : “That beats Michael Jackson’s Bad, and Pink Floyd’s The Wall“.
For those who are still unaware of this game, Angry Birds is puzzle video game developed by a developer in Finland, Rovio.
Previously we have seen Angry Birds downloaded 3 million times in almost 7 days on Android platform. We will update the number of downloads it has reached very soon on Android and other platforms as well.
Another boost in the game’s popularity is the Angry Birds Halloween Edition launched 2 weeks back. The Halloween edition of the game hits one million downloads number.
