Google’s mobile operating system Android is expected to launch its latest version next week. The rumor is circulating over the Internet, however it is not sure which version they are going to launch, it could be Android 2.3, 2.5 or Android 3.0 better known as GingerBread.

The release will give the developers and Android lovers with an emulator which will show what the latest release will look like and how it will work.

Previously we have seen Google releasing Android 1.0 in the fall of 2008, Android 2.0 in the fall of 2009 and now it seems it the time for Android 3.0 GingerBread to be launched.

Android Police states: “Gingerbread SDK is going to go public next week.
Getting access to the latest revision of the Android SDK means we’ll find out all the new API calls showing new OS functionality and, more importantly, will have access to the latest emulator showing exactly what the stock Android Gbread will look like. What we probably won’t have yet is the source code, because AOSP (Android Open Source Project) code typically trails the SDK release by a few weeks
.”

Android 3.0 Gingerbread is expected to come up with a very different and new User Interface for its users. Let us see what Google Android has in itself to surprise us.

At the moment its just only a rumor, but we can only say that we are ready to eat up Gingerbread :)
