Samsung Galaxy Tab went through a controversial situation when it was caught with a P0rn Icon inside it previously. Samsung moves quickly to solve the issue and now the icon text has been changed to ‘Acasa‘, which means ‘Home‘ in Romanian.
Many people misunderstood and thought that by clicking on the ‘P0rn’ button will open a way to some P0rn movies or such stuff. But the reality was that the word ‘P0rn’ comes from the word ‘P0rnire’ which means ‘Start’ in Romanian. Remember what Shakespeare said that “Nothing is Good or Bad but thinking makes it so“.
That was an embarrassing situation for Samsung and thats why they have quickly changed it. But it made the upcoming Galaxy Tab a little more controversial. Surely some controversies are also necessary to turn a product into a brand.
The news was well circulated over the Internet by many technology websites which made the Samsung Romania to take actions.
