A new report has emerged with the claim that Apple is working on a smaller iPad of 7 inch display, featuring cameras and it is expected to launch in the early part of 2011. The rumor is emerged from a report by Rodman & Renshaw analyst Ashok Kuma. Most of the analysts are saying that Apple is refreshing its tablet device because of the coming competition which can be seen easily by watching the growth of pads and tablet device production.
Now who we have in competition with Apple’s iPad ?? The very first name that comes in our minds is the Android Operating system which has an exceptionally high growth rate.
On the other hand Samsung is also set to launch their Galaxy Tab. It is expected that Samsung Galaxy Tab can be a good competitor to Apple’s iPad. Samsung has already done great with its Smartphone Samsung Galaxy S. The tab that the company is going to bring also has a 7-inch display with front and rear cameras.
Currently Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch are using the Apple’s official video chatting application FaceTime. So it is expected that Apple might bring their new version of iPad with front and rear camera facility.
The Cupertino-based company is also known for always refreshing their products, so it might not be primarily due to the competition.
A smaller iPad by Apple could also result in a less price and less price means that Apple’s iPad will penetrate more in the market now.
